Feedback sought: Senate Inquiry into Lending
FinTech Australia will be preparing a submission in response to the Senate Inquiry into lending and home ownership, with a focus on how lending regulation could be reformed to help first-home buyers into a home.
We will circulate further information to our Lending Policy Working Group and invite any interested members to contact our policy team about contributing to our submission before the consultation closes on 26 September 2024.
Feedback sought: Draft submission to 'CDR Rules: Consent and Operational Enhancement Amendments' Consultation Paper
FinTech Australia is seeking feedback on a draft submission to Treasury's consultation paper, CDR rules: consent and operational enhancement amendments before consultation closes on 9 September 2024. Last week we had an initial group discussion with members and have developed a draft submission based on this feedback. If you would like to provide input, please contact our policy team.
Revitalising National Competition Policy Consultation
Treasury has released a consultation paper on options for revitalising the National Competition Policy (NCP). Feedback is sought on updating competition principles and reforming institutional and governance frameworks to better support current and emerging competition issues.
