Calling all fintechs to present your solution to specific challenges reverse-pitched by the banks
In this second edition, Westpac and Citi will present their challenges to innovative companies at The Intersekt Fintech Festival on 18th September, 2024 at 4:30pm.
Startups and scaleups have the opportunity to present their solutions to the banks by 18 October, 2024. Submission deadline for Citi have been extended until Sunday, 24 November 2024.

The intent of the Banking Reverse Pitch is to ensure a broad selection of companies have the opportunity to submit solutions to the issued problem statements.
Candidate companies are encouraged to submit responses for one or more problem statements, even if the proposed solution only solves part of the problem.
Applying companies must have:
A valid Australian Business Number (ABN) or willingness to register an ABN if their company is selected.

The event at Intersekt 2024 is not compulsory but we recommend you to attend. The banks will directly pitch to the audience followed by Q&A and networking.

Please go through the full application typeform and include all the relevant information that will help the banks understand your solution.
You may also reach out via the queries form if you would like to share more documents that is above the size limit.
The banks will reach out to you for additional DD checks before finalising. -
Once your submission is successful, the banks will reach out to you directly to finalise, discuss terms of service, remuneration and any other requirements to formalise the agreement.
There may also be a press announcement naming the company/companies selected by the banks.

The bank will reach out to you for additional due diligence. Information such as technical specifications, IP specifications, competitor analysis, shareholder details etc. will be requested.
