National Artificial Intelligence Centre moves to the Department of Industry, Science and Resources

Following the 2024-2025 May Budget, a decision to move the centre from CSIRO (Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation) to the Department of Industry and Science.  The National AI Centre (NAIC) is now the Australian Government's flagship organisation in AI for collaborations from researchers, academics and the industry. 

This move from the Department of Industry, Science and Resources is in line with Budget measure and aims to link AI advice across the Government.
