EZYREMIT COMPANY OFFICIALLY OPENS REPRESENTATIVE OFFICE IN JAPAN

Currently, the number of immigrants in Japan is steadily increasing. According to data from the  Asia-Pacific Foundation, as of 2022, the immigrant population in Japan has reached an impressive  3.1 million people. Notably, over half of these foreign residents come from major countries such  as China, Vietnam, and South Korea.

In this context, immigrant communities face many financial challenges as they must cover their  daily living expenses and support their families back in their home countries. For Vietnamese  people in Japan, this number exceeds 430,000, accounting for over 15% of the total foreign  immigrant population in Japan, according to VietnamPlus Magazine.

Japan is a promising market with its open policies attracting labor migration, making remittances  a crucial need. This explains why Japan is appealing to companies in the money transfer sector.  According to statistics from the International Labor Organization (ILO), remittances from  Vietnamese labor migrants amount to approximately 3 billion USD per year.

Recently, EzyRemit, a financial technology (fintech) company based in Australia, has officially  established a representative office in Tokyo, Japan after several years of operations in the  remittance, payment solutions, and money transfer field. This marks the fifth representative  office on the world map in the past three years.

Mr. Allan Nguyen, Co-founder of EzyRemit, shared, "Most Vietnamese people in Japan are labor  migrants who regularly send money to support their families in Vietnam. EzyRemit is founded  100% by Vietnamese individuals and aims to support Vietnamese people. We are committed to  helping labor migrants send money to their loved ones in the best and most cost-effective way."

Vietnamese people in Japan tend to reside in major cities like Osaka, Tokyo, Kyoto, and Kanto.  Their work shifts keep them busy from morning to night, so they barely have time to visit  traditional money transfer stores. By using EzyRemit's services, users can easily send money to  their relatives through online payment portals or mobile applications.

In the future, EzyRemit plans to expand its services to reach more users in Japan and other Asian  countries, to support the Vietnamese community not only in North and South America and  Europe but also in Asia, to ensure the most optimal international payment methods for users.
