MONEYME DELIVERS STRONG OPERATING CASH PROFIT AND GROWTH AMID MARKET RECOVERY

Digital lender MONEYME announced its half-year results for FY2025, achieving strong operating cash profit and a 59% increase in originations, with capital to fuel further growth.

Key highlights:

  • Operating cash profit of $15m

  • Loan book increased to $1.4 billion, up 20% on 1H24

  • Originations increased to $454m, up 59% on 1H24

  • Revenue of $100m, down 7% on 1H24, reflecting increased secured lending driven by the Autopay product 

  • Lower credit losses, reducing to 3.7% and trending downward

  • Enhanced quality of loan book with improved borrower profiles

  • Reduced cost of funds, with further expected annualised cost savings of $11.5m from 2H25

  • Deployed Generative AI to automate aspects of customer communications

  • The stat NPAT result reflect loan book growth (increased ECL due to the larger book, although provisioning % reduced in line with the strong credit performance)
