FinTech Voice, March 28, 2024
Hi Community,
It is my pleasure to welcome Sarah Gorman as the new Chair of FinTech Australia and Brian Collins as the Deputy Chair. The Board acts not just as a governance body but also contributes to the strategic direction of the organisation. As the industry continues to evolve, we look forward to working closely with our community, to represent them with the Government and stakeholders.
On that note, thank you for your support in my appointment as CEO. This fast-paced industry continues to make its impact on every business and consumer, and we remain committed to supporting it through the initiatives we organise, the conversations we have, and the relationships we build. As always, please reach out if there is any way we can support.
We’ve finally reached the end of submission deadlines for both The Finnies and the Banking Reverse Pitch.
Finalists for the Finnies will be announced on the 18th of April 2024.
The Banks are aiming to respond to all applicants for the reverse pitch by 16 April 2024. Please reach out to the FA team if you don't hear from the banks by then.
Good luck to all applicants!
Lastly, if you are planning to go to any of the global fintech events this year, please let us know so we can help with introductions, discounted tickets, and a planned mission program to some of these events.
Kind regards,
Rehan D’Almeida,
Chief Executive Officer,
FinTech Australia
