1 in 6 women in Australia retires in poverty – “Rich Woman, Poor Woman” aims to address that
Ever wondered why Robert Kiyosaki never wrote a second book, Rich Mum Poor Mum? We’ll never know, but our guess is that when he was writing Rich Dad Poor Dad in 1997, women were still in the minority when it came to earning a high income, making independent investment decisions and managing their finances. The aspiration of becoming a rich woman in your own right was still quite unrealistic at that time.
Fast-forward to 2024 and there is a not-so-secret wealth creation tool available to all Australians and that is superannuation. Rich Woman, Poor Woman cuts through the complexity and jargon to educate and motivate women to maximise their super, starting early!
According to author Pascale Helyar-Moray, “Australia’s superannuation system still favours the male population, but today it is possible for women to become financially secure in retirement in their own right. And that’s why I decided to write Rich Woman, Poor Woman, inspired by Kiyosaki’s bestselling book.”
Well-researched, entertaining and practical, Rich Woman, Poor Woman explores:
What exactly is super, and how it can work harder for you
How to adopt super money habits and make a plan to achieve financial
independence
Set and forget strategies to grow your super faster
Hacks for all ages: women in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s.
