Set for March 04-08, 2024, the first-ever Japan Fintech Week will present a variety of fintech-focused events over the week. It aims to create collaboration opportunities among both local and global fintech players, offering panels, roundtable discussions, and startup pitches to encourage networking and idea sharing.
The highlight of the week, FIN/SUM, will gather experts from various fields to discuss topics such as Web 3.0, AI, and financial sector trends. Organized by the Financial Services Agency and Nikkei, FIN/SUM's theme for 2024 is “Building a Bright Future: Fintech for Happy Growth”, focusing on advancements in cashless payments, remittances, asset management, and more. Accompanying events by groups like BGIN, Fintech Association, FINOLAB, and others will also take place, with local governments in Tokyo and area embassies participating.
