Design Thinking is a hot topic in today’s business world. David will explain the concepts of Design Thinking and offer real world examples of Design thinking in action. He will also offer insights into how you may be able to apply them in your problem solving process.
About the Speaker:
David has almost 30 years in the design industry starting out in 3D Product Visualisation and Design in a global design role with Johnson & Johnson Consumer Products. In the course of his career, David has worked for design consultancies in both North America and Australia as a 3D computer modelling specialist.
David’s experience in design thinking, 3D computer graphics and rapid prototyping lead to lecturing positions in the Department of Industrial Design at UNSW, the Design Centre Enmore (Product Design and Jewellery Trade) and the Department of Industrial Design Western Sydney University. His design expertise has also given him the opportunity to teach at UTS in the Masters of Digital Architecture and the Interior Design Department’s Reactive Environments program.
