Behavioural Economics Lab for fintech & financial product designers

October 18, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm

As the finance world evolves and transforms thanks to fintech, focus is moving away from transactional relationships toward innovative products that solve real problems for customers. Many traditional product managers are grappling with how to take their organisation on this journey. The key lies in Behavioural Economics (BE).

BE applies psychological principles to economic decision-making. Why do people behave in a particular way, and make the decisions they do, especially in relation to money?

As fintech changes the way we experience money from every facet, BE is only growing in importance. The potential to leverage BE with data to improve product design and therefore customer outcomes, is profound.

To help those interested in finance and fintech to better understand BE principles and their application to help customers make better decisions, we’re inviting you to take part in a live BE lab. During this session, participants will learn fundamental BE principles, see how BE is being leveraged in the real world, and apply principles to create potential solutions.
