FinTech Australia has appointed three new board members, with the addition of one new board position in Queensland.
The board now consists of nine members split across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. In addition to providing input on the direction and policies of Fintech Australia, the board actively participates in its operation.
The appointments follow FinTech Australias refocus to facilitate and encourage collaboration across all elements in fintech and the broader financial services sector. This years annual Finnies awards will focus on the relaunched ethos towards collaboration and recognising standout fintech businesses.
It also follows the groups escalation of its efforts to champion local issues affecting the fintech sector including the changing payments landscape, R&D tax credits, and the Consumer Data Regime.
General Manager of FinTech Australia, Rebecca Schot-Guppy says the new board additions are in line with the growth of fintech across Australia.
